David Allen

In David’s 45-year career in the Built Environment, he oversaw the development of McKinstry’s brand position and marketing strategy as it evolved into one of the Nation’s leaders in integrated facility services and engineered solutions in the Clean Technology sectors.

During his decades of work in the design, construction and facility management industry, David has championed countless marketing, client development and strategic initiatives for McKinstry, driving its Brand value to remarkable heights. Today, he remains well known for his keynote presentations and seminars in the areas of corporate communications, business development, workforce and project delivery and clean technology/energy.

David has served on more than 50 Boards, trade associations, community-based organizations and business alliances. He is the co-founder of the Clean Technology Alliance Washington, past chair of the Economic Development Council of King County, The Boys and Girls Clubs of King County, and the Mechanical Contractors of Western Washington. He currently serves as an Advisory Board member on Western Washington University’s Clean Energy Institute, a Trustee on Peter Byck’s Carbon Nation Organization, CTA Emeritus Executive Board member and the Bellevue Chamber Of Commerce.
