BA in Energy Policy and Management
- Analyze energy-related problems using economic, business, social science, legal, and energy science principles
- Evaluate environmental, economic, and social justice impacts of existing and proposed energy-related policies
- Engage relevant theoretical and empirical perspectives to map pathways to a low-carbon, socially just, and renewable energy future
- Understand societal needs for energy services and evaluate options to satisfy those needs using a whole-systems perspective
- Communicate energy problems and solutions to diverse audiences using credible, evidence-based arguments
BS in Energy Science and Technology
- Track, quantify, and understand the physical processes and life cycle of energy flows from natural resources, through conversion processes and technologies to end-use applications
- Evaluate environmental and economic impacts of energy technologies, policies, and practices
- Identify demand-side energy resources and evaluate the economic and environmental impacts arising from those resources
- Understand societal needs for energy services and evaluate options to satisfy those needs using a whole-systems perspective
