Biography

After 33 years at University Mechanical Contractors, Inc, Jerry Bush retired in December 2022. A construction management grad from Colorado State University, Jerry spent many years in the field and then managed teams while working his way to becoming the majority owner of UMC. Jerry has fostered a collaborative team of experts who support clients by identifying impactful energy and environmental solutions. Jerry is actively involved in a myriad of organizations, including the AGC, multiple industry organizations and Taft Hartley trusts, WWU Energy Studies Institute advisory committee, the Boys and Girls Club, and Mukilteo Chamber of Commerce. In his free time, Jerry serves as president of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Western Washington (MCAWW) and a planning commissioner for the City of Mukilteo.
