Thirty-Seven-year electric utility career, from Engineer to Chief Executive Officer with experience in all facets of a fully integrated modern utility. Have led the research, development and integration of a wide array of renewable energy resources including wind, solar, geothermal, and hydrokinetic, with an emphasis on local distributed energy resources (DER’s).

Founder and Principal with Klein Tech Advisors Group, an energy consulting company, and Co-founder of Klein Power Investments, which invests in and strategically supports sustainable technology startups.

Also serve on numerous Boards that advocate for and support the research and development of innovative clean technologies as well as sustainable oriented electric grid design and operation.
