Tony Usibelli

Tony Usibelli retired from the Washington Dept. of Commerce in 2018 where he served as Director of the State Energy Office and as Special Assistant to the Director for Energy and Climate Policy. Prior to joining Commerce, Tony worked on energy codes with the WSU energy program, managed the energy efficiency-section at the Washington State Energy Office, and was a staff scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory where he researched energy efficiency. He also served as an adjunct faculty member at the Evergreen State College teaching or co-teaching courses in energy, natural resources, and climate change. In retirement, Tony volunteers with the volunteers with the Clean Tech Alliance, the Sierra Club (State board member), and Shift Zero.
